Shipping policy
1. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
This Shipping Policy forms part of the contractual terms governing all purchases made via the House of Beardall Shopify store.
By placing an order, you expressly agree to this Shipping Policy.
2. DELIVERY AREA
Delivery is strictly limited to mainland United Kingdom.
We do not provide international delivery, offshore delivery, or delivery to remote UK territories unless expressly agreed in writing.
3. DELIVERY ESTIMATES
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and shall not constitute a binding obligation.
We shall not be liable for any delay in delivery arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, courier disruption, seasonal demand, or logistical constraints.
4. FULFILMENT AND LOGISTICS
Orders are fulfilled via third-party suppliers and logistics providers.
Upon dispatch, fulfilment and carriage are transferred to the nominated carrier. Delivery performance thereafter remains subject to the carrier’s terms and operational processes.
Where your order contains items from multiple brands or suppliers, these may be delivered separately and may arrive on different dates and via different couriers. Tracking details will be emailed to you once each consignment has been dispatched.
5. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
You are solely responsible for ensuring that:

All delivery information provided is complete, accurate, and accessible;

Goods must be used, installed, and assembled strictly in accordance with all manufacturer guidance, instructions and supplied parts. We are unable to accept returns or liability where items have been assembled, installed, or used contrary to such instructions or where components, fixings or original packaging are missing;

A responsible adult is available to accept delivery where required;

Children and pets are kept fully clear of the delivery area during all delivery activity.
We shall not be liable for any failure to deliver arising from your breach of these obligations.
6. FAILED DELIVERY AND REDELIVERY
Where delivery cannot be completed due to customer-related circumstances, including absence, incorrect information, or restricted access:

All associated redelivery costs shall be payable by the customer;

Storage charges may be applied where goods are held by carriers;

Additional carrier surcharges may be passed on in full;

Goods may be returned to sender at the customer’s expense where repeated delivery attempts fail.
No further delivery attempt shall be made until all outstanding charges have been settled in full.
7. RISK AND TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY
Risk in the Goods shall pass to you upon completion of delivery.
From the point of delivery, the Goods shall be your sole responsibility.
8. LARGE AND HEAVY GOODS
Certain items are large, heavy, or require specialist handling.
You accept responsibility for ensuring suitable access and conditions for delivery.
Delivery personnel may refuse to complete delivery where access, safety, or handling conditions are deemed unsuitable.
9. DAMAGE, SHORTAGES, AND REPORTING
Any claim relating to damage, shortage, or delivery discrepancy must be notified promptly to:

Failure to report issues within a reasonable timeframe may affect your entitlement to remedies.
10. TITLE
Ownership of the Goods shall pass to you only upon receipt of full payment and completion of delivery.
11. AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. The version in force at the time of your Order shall apply.
